Going back over 80 years, Iwata Tool’s history began with the production of the first center drills for domestic use in Japan. We have been producing high-quality and reliable cutting tools since then. We have continuously been in demand and have continuously challenged the limitations. We have developed and introduced products such as SP Center, Toglon, and small diameter tools. Iwata Tools’ future mission continues to be to provide high-performance cutting tools that reduce production costs and improve the efficiency of customers’ products.

Specialist in ultra-small diameter cutting tools
We develop unique small cutting tools for our customers. IWATA TOOL specializes in drilling and chamfering tools in the diameter range from under 6 mm to 8 μm. By focusing on special end users, we have created new tools and machining methods that set IWATA TOOL apart from other competitors who focus on standard solutions.
On the other hand, this also means that IWATA TOOL cannot provide standard tools while other manufacturers may support. But with this strategy, we can separate ourselves from the big manufacturers by creating unique solutions and creating new value for ourselves and our customers.
